Start learning physics from the simple system - Pendulum Physics. The pendulum has a renowned history in the development of physical science, which extends since the time of Galileo (Ariotti, 1968). Pendulum study is a staple in high school curriculums and the university level physics textbooks. Its importance is realized due to its ability to demonstrate more than one physical phenomena (Matthews, 2001, Berg, 2006). Pendulums are extensively used to demonstrate the law of conservation of energy, simple harmonic oscillator, isochronism, gravitation, collision and many more aspects of physics (Matthews, 2001, Aggarwal et al. 2005). Scientists of many disciplines use the ideology of the pendulum motion. Chemists use the ideology of the pendulum to describe the oscillating chemical reaction, collision between the atoms during reaction and the concept of energy transformation (De Berg, 2006). Paleontologists use pendulum motion to demonstrate the locomotion of prehistoric animals (Galton, 1970). Pendulum motion has also become important in the medical science for modeling prosthetic limbs and body structures (Curtze et al. 2009). Pendulum has also played an important role in the development of the concept of time without which no science can stand independently (Matthews, 2001).
